Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer in Product Security to help protect the Security Cloud from advanced threats. You will develop and deploy security tooling and automation across our Product Security organization, building a platform of applications, APIs, and frameworks used by engineers worldwide.

You will work on data platforms, multi-cloud production environments, and scale with CrowdStrike’s growth while ensuring reliable performance during security responses.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Software Engineering role, with event-driven systems and data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience developing in Golang, Python, React, Angular, or Typescript.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, cryptographic signing, and OSS dependencies.
• Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue operations (OpenSearch, Valkey, Postgres, Kafka, SQS), including production health and capacity ownership.
• Experience managing end-to-end SDLC with stakeholder engagement and mission outcomes.
• Experience with Generative AI and building services leveraging LLMs.
• Experience with configuration management/orchestration tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet).
• Experience in a Product Security role; SaaS background is a strong bonus.
• Broad awareness of cybersecurity landscape, adversaries, modes of interest, and TTPs.
• Experience monitoring telemetry data from applications and infrastructure.
• Experience in Security Operations and/or Incident Response.
• Experience operating in cloud-scale Linux environments; AWS or GCP.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Be a technical contributor on a global software engineering team in Product Security.
• Design and implement software and automation tools for security use cases such as software supply chain security and AI-powered vulnerability discovery.
• Partner with teams throughout Product Security to develop security tooling strategy and architecture.
• Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations for mission-critical security services.
