Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Safe and Secure Associate in Hoffman Estates, IL to manage gate access, patrol facilities, and assist with incident response. You will be a face of Carvana to staff, vendors, and visitors, ensuring safety protocols across egress/ingress and inventory control.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Training on first aid and CPR will be provided, with benefits and career growth

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of strong decision-making in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.

Responsibilities

• Manage and document movement of cars at entry/exit gates.
• Be the face of Carvana to associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Lead with effective communication and active listening with team and partners.
• Conduct routine patrols of the yard and facilities, noting safety concerns.
• Become trained on life saving measures (first aid, CPR, AED).
• Support badge creation, CCTV review, and other safety tasks with leaders.
