Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect to join our Product Security team to enhance security across Akamai's products.

You will work closely with development teams to embed security into design and development, and you will help shape our AI-enabled security strategy across a global, diverse product portfolio. You will be responsible for security-focused design reviews, remediation collaboration, and providing guidance on security best practices while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Experience in security architecture in a large, global environment.
• Knowledge of latest security technologies, attack techniques and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to remediate common vulnerabilities and propose custom solutions.
• Breadth of security knowledge across cloud, network, cryptography, etc.
• Experience with threat modeling or hazard-analysis frameworks (STAMP, STRIDE).
• Able to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform security-focused design reviews of applications, systems and networks across products (security, CDN, cloud).
• Partner with development and infrastructure teams to remediate identified issues.
• Collaborate with product teams on secure design and development choices.
• Provide guidance on security practices and answer questions.
• Serve as SME during incidents and remediation projects.
• Identify tools and processes to ensure security/compliance of products.
• Integrate responsible use of AI into workflows and secure company use.
