Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking an intern to work with the security department, mentored by experienced staff, to apply knowledge and grow technical skills. The role involves collaborating with a fast-paced team on real challenges and attending frequent mentor check-ins for progress updates.

Eligibility requires enrollment in an applicable degree program with at least one semester remaining post internship, GPA 3.0, and 3+ months of general work experience. On-site 12 weeks starting early 2027.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in associates, bachelor’s, master's or doctorate program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar.
• At least one semester remaining post internship.

Responsibilities

• Intern with mentor and security team to apply knowledge and grow technical and professional skills.
• Work with a fast-paced group to apply industry concepts to real challenges.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors to ensure progress and learning.
