Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking an Security Analyst Intern based at our Long Beach, California site. You will support the Security Team by helping develop security education, conducting intelligence and risk assessments, researching network infrastructure, and contributing to physical security and enterprise risk management.

The role offers mentorship, hands-on learning, and engagement through tech talks and intern networking events. 12+ weeks, full-time on-site, with compensation details provided.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in field of criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0 or 3.5+ would be preferred
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or other personal/team project experience)

Responsibilities

• Work with mentor and security team to apply knowledge and grow skills both technically and professionally
• Work with a fast-paced group to apply industry concepts to real challenges
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning and provide progress updates
