Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, California is seeking a Security Analyst Intern to support the Security Team in education, risk assessments, and infrastructure research. You will work closely with mentors and other security professionals to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll have regular 1:1s, participate in tech talks, and network with other interns and employees through company events. This internship emphasizes hands-on learning and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar, with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• GPA of 3.0.
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or project work acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor and the security team to apply knowledge and grow technical and professional skills.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced group to apply industry concepts to real security challenges.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors and supervisors for progress updates and learning.
• Participate in tech talks and network with interns and employees through events.
