Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Security Analyst Intern to join our security team at the Long Beach site in California. You will support security education, intelligence and risk assessments, network infrastructure research, and physical security initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with mentors, participate in industry talks, and develop professionally while collaborating across teams to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in field of criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 required.
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or other personal/team project experience is applicable).

Responsibilities

• Support Security Team by developing security education and conducting intelligence and risk assessments.
• Research network infrastructure and physical security aspects.
• Attend frequent 1:1’s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning.
• Engage in tech talks and networking events with interns and employees.
