Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Manager in supervising and training security staff at the Honolulu post. This role oversees daily operations, maintains post orders, and ensures client requirements are met with strong leadership and communication.

The position involves interviewing, onboarding, coaching, incident response, and coordination across sub-units, with occasional hands-on security duties up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of professional-level management experience in security.
• Valid state Guard License and ongoing license status.
• Age 21 or older; background check and drug screening required.
• Ability to travel regionally and meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of all aspects of executing the security contract at the site.
• Supervise shift supervisors and security professionals; provide coaching and training.
• Maintain Post Order manuals and ensure proper site maintenance and organization.
• Conduct interviews and on-the-job training for new personnel.
• Oversee all reports, logs, and handoffs for the Security Department.
• Manage sub-units such as fire control, command center, and loading docks.
• Respond to incidents; ensure proper reporting and timely notification.
• Identify personnel issues and forward for counseling or disciplinary action with approval.
• Respond to client/site emergencies and maintain positive relationships.
• May perform Security Professional duties up to 50% of time.
