Job summary

FIS in Wisconsin is seeking a Loan Operations Analyst to review, analyze, and interpret correspondence related to account maintenance and to ensure loan applications comply with governmental regulations.

You will perform quality control on loans, communicate with clients and third parties, research questions, and handle high-risk processing tasks such as loan payoff processing and escrow analyses. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and interprets correspondence related to account maintenance.
• Ensures loan applications comply with governmental regulations and requirements.
• Performs quality control on new and existing loans using internal reports and loan documentation.
• Communicates professionally with clients and third parties through multiple channels.
• Researches and resolves internal and externally submitted account questions and problems.
• Performs high risk task processing including maintenance on accounts with regulatory or monetary implications.
• Meets production standards for account servicing tasks.
• Completes account maintenance.
• Processes loan payoff requests and processes paid loans.
• Follows up on insurance information and processes insurance on accounts.
• Processes payments and payment exceptions.
• Performs escrow analyses and prepares annual escrow analyses.

What you will be doing:

• Reviews, analyzes, and interprets correspondence related to account maintenance.
• Ensures loan applications comply with governmental regulations and requirements by reviewing complex legal documents and regulatory requirements (Loan Operations Analyst).
• Performs quality control on new and existing loans using internal reports and loan documentation to verify data input is correct and documents accurate and in regulatory compliance (Loan Operations Analyst).
• Communicates professionally with clients and third parties through multiple channels (phone, email, workflow tools).
• Researches and resolves internal and externally submitted account questions and problems.
• Performs high risk task processing including maintenance on accounts having regulatory or monetary implications, e.g., payment/research corrections, credit bureau dispute research, Reg Z disputes, loan payoff processing, fee processing, loan modifications (Loan Operations Analyst).
• Meets production standards for account servicing tasks:
• Completes account maintenance.
• Processes loan payoff requests. Processes paid loans.
• Follows up on insurance information, and processes insurance on accounts.
• Processes payments and payment exceptions.
• Performs escrow analyses. Prepares and executes annual escrow analyses.

Reconciliation

• Monitors daily reports and follows-up as required.

Schedule: Monday-Friday. 1st shift.

What you bring:

• High school diploma or GED. 2-3 years experience
• Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective people skills and sensitivities when dealing with others

• Banking or financial industry experience
• Experience working with basic technical issues in a banking environment
