Job summary

Alutiiq Solutions LLC in North Charleston, SC is seeking a qualified Kitchen Maintenance & Repair Technician to support Department of State facilities. This role ensures efficient operation and maintenance of all kitchen systems, equipment, and machinery.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, 3–5 years in facilities maintenance, and a TS clearance. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, minor repairs, safety compliance, and inventory

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Top Secret clearance required.
3–5 years of facilities maintenance experience.
Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals and order parts.

Responsibilities

Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on kitchen systems and equipment.
Troubleshoots equipment failures and repairs to restore functionality.
Inspects kitchen systems and identifies deficiencies for corrective action.
Supports minor facility repairs (carpentry, drywall, painting).
Adheres to safety procedures and DoS policies.
Supports emergency response and after-hours work as needed.
Maintains tools and work areas in clean, safe condition.
Assists with inventory tracking for maintenance materials.
