Job summary

Alutiiq Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to support facility operations under the Department of State. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and ensure safe, efficient facility operations.

Reading technical manuals and working with Maximo are essential. Required are a high school diploma, 3–5 years in facilities maintenance, EPA 608, and MRPT clearance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years in facilities maintenance or related trades.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specs.
• Possess or able to obtain MRPT security clearance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Execute work orders in Maximo with accurate documentation and compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform repairs to restore functionality.
• Inspect facility systems and identify deficiencies for corrective action.
• Assist with minor repairs (carpentry, drywall, painting) as needed.
• Support uptime of critical equipment to meet mission requirements.
• Follow RCM principles to optimize asset performance.
• Adhere to safety procedures and DoS policies.
