Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Embedded Security Software Engineer II for Secure Product Assurance. You will join a software team to design, code, test real-time embedded software for radar, sensor, and fire control systems, with focus on secure software solutions.

The role involves collaboration across lifecycle stages, CI/CD familiarity, DoD security clearance eligibility, and working onsite at the Tucson campus. Competitive pay and relocation eligibility are offered.

Qualifications

Masters degree in STEM from an accredited institution.
Experience developing, testing or debugging software using C, C++, or similar language.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl or similar.
Real time embedded software development experience.
Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
Experience developing software in a team-based development environment with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Work on complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
Participate in all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration.
Derive system and software requirements, architectural modeling, and technical analysis.
Design, code, unit test, integrate, and document real-time embedded software solutions with focus on secure implementations.
Participate in software peer reviews, code inspections, and technical decision-making with multidisciplinary teams.
Support program execution to meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines.
