RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Embedded Security Software Engineer for Secure Product Assurance. You will design, code, test real-time embedded software for radar, sensors, and fire control systems, contributing across the SDLC and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

This role requires a STEM degree, C/C++ experience, Python scripting, and DoD security clearance readiness. Onsite work at the Tucson campus, with strong emphasis on software process adherence, debugging, and secure software

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM from an accredited institution.
• Experience developing and testing software in C/C++.
• Real-time embedded software development experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a team-based development environment with good communication.

Responsabilidades

• Work on complex technical problems and collaborate to provide innovative solutions.
• Work at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration.
• Assist in the derivation of system and software requirements, architectural modeling, and technical analysis.
• Design, code, unit test, integrate, and document real-time embedded software solutions.
• Participate in software peer reviews, code inspections, and technical decision-making with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support program execution to ensure work products meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines.
