RTX is seeking an Embedded Security Software Engineer for Secure Product Assurance in Tucson. You will join a top software team to design, code, integrate, and test real-time embedded software for radar, sensors, guidance, and fire control systems.

You will contribute across the software lifecycle, collaborate with program leadership and customers, and work onsite at the Tucson campus. A DoD security mindset and DoD program experience are valued.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in STEM from accredited institution, by start date.
Experience developing, testing or debugging software with C/C++.
Experience with Python, Perl or similar scripting.
Real-time embedded software development experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Team-based development experience with good communication.

Mansioni

Work on complex technical problems and collaborate to provide innovative solutions.
Work at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration.
Assist in derivation of system and software requirements, architectural modeling, and technical analysis.
Design, code, unit test, integrate, and document real-time embedded software solutions.
Participate in software peer reviews, code inspections, and technical decisions with multidisciplinary teams.
Support program execution to meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines.
Follow established software processes to maintain product integrity.
