Job summary

Lastwall is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to operate, improve, and scale secure cloud infrastructure for identity services in high-trust environments. You will work across cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, and incident response to support mission-critical workloads.

The role emphasizes FedRAMP/NIST-aligned practices, AWS GovCloud experience, and collaboration with product, security, and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud-native infrastructure or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience.
• U.S. citizenship or dual U.S./Canadian citizenship.
• Experience with secure, scalable distributed cloud systems.
• Hands-on with AWS GovCloud or regulated environments.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong security, compliance, and incident response awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate, improve, and scale secure infrastructure behind the identity platform.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with CDK and Terraform.
• Contribute to platform engineering for efficient product deployment.
• Improve monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD tooling and release processes.
• Apply secure infrastructure practices aligned with FedRAMP, NIST, GovCloud.
• Participate in incident response and learning from incidents.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and product teams.
