Job summary

CDW is seeking a cloud infrastructure engineer to manage, maintain, implement, and improve government-focused, multi-cloud environments including Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, and GCP.

You will design secure, compliant cloud architectures, support ITIL processes, participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver reliable, scalable services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of IT infrastructure engineering experience, or 9 total years in IT engineering with 5 years in infrastructure or cloud engineering.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud solutions on Azure Government / Azure GCC High, AWS GovCloud, and/or GCP.
• Experience applying Gov and industry compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, FISMA, CMMC, DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks).
• Advanced cloud platform certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP); two or more strongly preferred.
• Customer-facing experience, including leading technical discussions with customers and supporting pre-sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, implement, and improve cloud-focused, platform-agnostic IT infrastructure for Government workloads.
• Support secure cloud operations with compliance requirements and security frameworks.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for critical Government environments, including after-hours shifts.
• Perform incident, problem, change, and request management per ITIL and security processes.
• Develop automation, Infrastructure as Code, scripts, runbooks, and operational documentation.
