Job summary

ADM is seeking a Payroll Compliance Analyst in the Chicago or Decatur area to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing for employees working on Section 45Z credits. This role focuses on compliance, tracking eligible work hours, and audit readiness across a regulated payroll environment.

You will apply prevailing wage rates and fringe-benefit requirements, monitor compliance, and collaborate with Operations, HR, and Finance to support credit claims and timely corrections when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage complex payroll environments.
• Experience with prevailing wage and fringe benefit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and in compliance with Section 45Z requirements.
• Maintain payroll records that segregate eligible vs. non-eligible hours.
• Track qualifying work tasks and hours; validate eligibility with Operations, HR, and Project Management.
• Apply prevailing wage and fringe benefit rates and monitor compliance.
