Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks a Telecommunications Mechanic to support Inside Plant voice services at Fort Detrick, MD. The role focuses on VoIP platforms, call routing, provisioning, and service assurance within a DoD setting, with adherence to security standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold or maintain one of the listed certifications (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
• Knowledge of Avaya and VoIP communications systems highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform O&M of post-VMOD Inside Plant voice services with emphasis on VoIP and call routing.
• Administer VoIP services including user profiles, device configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain E911 data accuracy and coordinate MACs for PSAP records.
• Troubleshoot VoIP trunks, SIP services, gateways and ensure high availability.
