Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Mechanic at Fort Detrick, MD to support DoD voice services. The role emphasizes VoIP provisioning, call routing, and service assurance, with a focus on modern VoIP platforms over legacy TDM.

You will maintain VoIP systems, manage voicemail platforms, and ensure E911 accuracy and location data compliance. Collaboration with vendors and internal teams is required to sustain high availability and service quality.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2; certification or equivalent required.
• CCNA Security or other approved cyber certs demonstrate securing infrastructure.
• Experience with Avaya or VoIP systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide O&M for post-VMOD Inside Plant voice services with VoIP focus.
• Administer VoIP services, including user profiles, device config and CTS features.
• Maintain E911 data accuracy, MACs, and PSAP/AT&T records for IP-FLEX.
• Monitor VoIP trunks, SIP services, gateways, and call management components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and fault isolation on ISP voice infrastructure.
