Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking a Desktop Support / Touch Labor Technician (Tier 2-3) for positions at Fort Hood, TX, and White Sands Missile Range, NM. The role requires a SECRET clearance and interim Secret prior to starting work, with responsibilities across imaging, deployment, and STIG configuration of end-user devices.

You will support desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices, manage OS images, backups, and data recovery, and coordinate with vendors for warranty

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently.
• Active Secret clearance (Tier 3 / T3R); interim Secret required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, printers, and multifunction devices.
• Image systems with the current operating system baseline and perform user data backup, restore, and hard drive recovery.
• Apply software, firmware, security updates, patches and STIG settings using Government-provided tools.
• Deliver, pick up, and relocate end-user devices at the service desk or user's location.
• Support operating systems including Microsoft, Linux, UNIX, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Coordinate and verify vendor warranty repairs and report completed actions.
