Job summary

SHR Consulting Group, LLC seeks a Desktop Support Specialist to deliver Tier II support for DISA J6 ITS/DMM environments on-site in the National Capital Region, primarily at the Pentagon and nearby facilities.

The role requires a secret clearance, DoD enterprise experience, hands-on workstation imaging, software deployment, and endpoint management. You will collaborate with cybersecurity and systems engineers to maintain security baselines and STIG compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in desktop engineering, endpoint administration or Tier II support.
• Experience in a DoD or Federal enterprise IT environment.
• Experience with workstation imaging, OS deployment and software installation.
• Experience supporting enterprise Windows desktops and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with enterprise ITSM systems and ticketing.
• HDI-DST or equivalent customer-support certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Tier II desktop and endpoint support to DoD customers.
• Image and configure Government workstations; install OS loads and applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, software and peripherals; maintain asset records.
• Document resolutions and escalate complex incidents to Tier III teams.
• Support CAC/PKI, MFA and STIG/vulnerability remediation; ensure security baselines.
