Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Red Team Penetration Tester to perform offensive cybersecurity operations for DoD and U.S. Government systems.

You will work with Blue Team and Cybersecurity staff to enhance overall cyber posture and security testing capabilities. Requirements include five years of relevant experience, strong Linux and Windows knowledge, and proficiency with leading pentest tools like Kali, Metasploit, NMAP, and Cobalt Strike. U.S.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience in software engineering applied to program development; modeling and simulation applied to DoD or Information Technology systems.
• Linux and Windows system knowledge with enterprise networking.
• Strong working knowledge of penetration testing tools (Kali, Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike).

Responsibilities

• Debug and reverse engineer software.
• Analyze Windows Events and Linux logs.
• Develop and maintain software and scripts for security testing in multiple languages.
• Operate and administer mixed OS environments (Linux/UNIX/Windows).
• Identify security flaws in source code and architecture; apply STIGs and NSA encryption guidelines.
• Contribute to system security documentation and admin manuals.
