Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Red Team Penetration Tester to conduct advanced offensive cybersecurity for U.S. Government and DoD systems.

The role collaborates with Blue Team experts to strengthen cyber posture and requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance with Top Secret preferred and US Citizenship for access eligibility. Responsibilities include conducting penetration tests, reverse engineering software, and assessing Windows/Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience in software engineering applied to program development; modeling and simulation applied to DoD or IT systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Penetration Testing tools such as Kali, Metasploit, NMAP and Cobalt Strike.
• Experience in Red Team operations, and in programming languages like Python, C, C++, Go, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory, cloud services, and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Debug and reverse engineer software.
• Analyze Windows events and Linux logs.
• Develop and test Web and application components; mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Assist in cybersecurity operations and experiment with offensive techniques.
• Document findings and contribute to system security best practices.
