Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Red Team Penetration Tester to perform offensive cybersecurity operations for U.S. Government/DoD systems. Active Secret clearance is required; Top Secret with SCI eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in software engineering applied to DoD/IT systems.
• Proficient with Linux and Windows and enterprise networks.
• Experience with Red Team operations and PENTEST tools (Kali, Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike).

Responsibilities

• Debug and reverse engineer software.
• Analyze Windows events and Linux syslogs, boot logs and dmesg.
• Program and debug Web 2.0 apps and scripts in multiple languages.
• Recommend software changes to mitigate vulnerabilities; operate Linux/UNIX and Windows systems.
• Identify security flaws in code and understand AD, network protocols, and encryption tech.
• Participate in code reviews; perform static analysis; contribute to security manuals.
