Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Junior System Administrator to support DISA's GSM-O contract at Scott AFB, IL. The role focuses on protecting information and maintaining secure, multi-user systems while coordinating with customers and other administrators.

Key duties include operating independently, communicating policies, updating systems, monitoring, and maintaining documentation. Requires a BA or equivalent, a SECRET clearance, and DoD 8750 certification within 6 months, plus basic scripting skills.

Qualifications

• BA Degree and less than 2 years of experience; experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• 1 year of experience in customer service environment.
• Must hold an active SECRET security clearance prior to start.
• Complete DoD 8750 certification e.g. Security+ within 6 months of start date.
• Basic Understanding of Scripting Languages.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, coordinating with customers and other admins.
• Communicate policies and procedures to customers.
• Update digital systems to provide insight to ongoing efforts and tickets.
• Monitor alarm systems and system health.
• Perform basic level system administrator duties.
• Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
• Create, maintain, and implement detailed documentation and SOPs.
• Provide support on a M-F schedule, with on-call/extended-hour/weekend support as required.
