Job summary

Leidos at Scott AFB, IL is seeking a Network Support Analyst to support DISA DGOC with GIG/DISN services. You will handle ticketing, monitor real-time network events, and perform IP/SATCOM configurations across baseband, IF and RF systems.

U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required. DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification and 2–4 years of experience are expected; a high school diploma is acceptable. This role is on-site at Scott AFB, IL.

Qualifications

• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification required at start date.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operations environment.
• Experience with SAA/GAAs as documentation for network configuration.
• Experience with MILSATCOM encryption devices.
• Understanding of SATCOM architecture and signal flow.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to manage IP over SATCOM networks using iDirect/Linkway/EBEM or equivalent FM-TDMA hubs.

Responsibilities

• Create and update tickets utilizing DISA ticketing applications to aid in customer problem tracking and resolution across the network.
• Monitor network events and element management failures in real-time on a 24x7x365 basis.
• Perform IP network support including configuration of routers, switches, firewalls and voice equipment.
• Perform IP satellite modem support including configuration and issue of option/boot/RSP files.
• Remotely access and de-access customers into the IP/SATCOM networks.
• Work with DoD SATCOM Gateway facilities and deployed operators to troubleshoot and resolve SATCOM and IP network issues.
• Verify equipment is operating in the baseline configuration.
• Remotely provide global equipment configurations at DoD SATCOM Gateways using SAA/GAA.
