Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Electronic Network Engineer (Level 2 or 3) for on-site roles in San Diego or Palmdale. You will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure in a lab-to-operations environment.

Responsibilities include configuring routers/switches/firewalls, optimizing performance, and documenting procedures. DoD clearance and IAT Level II or higher are required or pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in STEM with related engineering experience.
• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II certified or higher within a reasonable time after hire.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4 addressing, VLANs and routing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support network infrastructure components (Routers/Switches/Firewalls).
• Monitor and optimize network performance.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standards.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for complex network issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to install, troubleshoot and redline procedures.
• Work with Engineers and Technicians in a lab environment and support software integration labs.
