Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in San Diego, CA is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Engineer Electronics - Networks to drive Mission System Network solutions, including architecture, requirements flow, and verification. The role involves designing and integrating networks, performing TRL assessments, and collaborating with multiple engineering teams to solve complex challenges.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 5+ years of related engineering experience OR Master's with 3+ years (LV3).
• Bachelor’s with 8+ years (LV4) or PhD with 4+ years.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II compliant certification required (e.g., CCNA Security or Security+CE).
• Solid Cisco IOS and IP networking knowledge including subnetting and dynamic routing.
• Experience with network defense systems (firewalls, ACLs, IDS/IPS).
• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret, allocate, tailor, and flow down requirements to system architecture levels.
• Design and develop network architecture; perform integration, testing, and analysis.
• Trade studies, reliability, and TRL evaluation for subsystems.
• Document designs with schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate network solutions.
