Job summary

WR Systems is seeking a Material Coordinator to support Government site logistics, material tracking, and inventory control in Norfolk, VA. The role requires a strong background in shipping, receiving, and DD-1149 processing, with an active Secret clearance to start.

Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and working with Government and contractor personnel to ensure timely material movements and compliance with DoD logistics procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of related procurement/logistics experience.
• Or 5 years with Associates degree in lieu of experience.
• Experience with inventory databases and DD-1149 generation.
• Experience tracking Government-furnished equipment and materials.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support Government site logistics activities, including shipping and receiving.
• Track material movement, equipment accountability, and status reporting.
• Coordinate international shipping and Customs clearance processing.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with audits.
• Collaborate with Government and contractor personnel to meet logistics requirements.
