Job summary

HII Mission Technologies in Key West, FL is seeking a Computer Operator III to support the NITE program. The operator will handle complex operational tasks, configure setups, reroute processing, and create system configurations to support test activities without disrupting operations.

This role requires independent judgment, data protection, and collaboration with programmers, systems analysts, and SMEs to resolve system-level issues. It is a CBA Hourly position with starting pay of $29.49.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years related experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Must possess a valid state Driver’s License.
• Candidate must have computer maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Familiar with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Proficient with computers and computer operations.
• Knowledgeable with proper handling of classified material.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Tactical Combat Training System (TCTS) computers and peripheral equipment.
• Enter flight data for mission into the MLU system.
• Interact with mission coordinator and squadron for timely mission data receipt and input into MLU.
• Verify information from squadron is correct and reflected on the JDS.
• Monitor live missions and notify supervisors of malfunctions or stoppages.
• Assist Range Training Officers with JDS and communications setup for live missions.
• Input, monitor and change radio frequencies as necessary.
• Archive previous mission data and prepare for new flight data entry.
• Start and stop mission recording and set up debrief rooms for replay.
• Assist with running replays for RTO/Controllers and pilots.
• Enter data for daily missions into the Range Information Management System (RIMS).
• Document maintenance actions in Integrated Enterprise Management System (IEMS).
• Be operationally qualified within 6 months and maintenance qualified within 1 year.
• Be cross-trained and qualified to operate multiple TCTS systems.
