Job summary

Alene Candles LLC & Midwest is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our New Albany, OH facility. This on-site role requires hands-on manufacturing leadership to manage pour and reheat operations and drive safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will support the Production Supervisor, oversee staffing and training, and lead continuous improvement activities, including 5S initiatives, to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Experience with 5S, poke-yoke implementation and Kaizen events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises teams in the candle and home fragrance production environment.
• Staffing, training, and scheduling to achieve efficiency and on-time completion.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives on shift.
