Job summary

Alene Candles is hiring an Assistant Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our New Albany, Ohio facility. This role supports the Manufacturing Supervisor, oversees pour and reheat zones, and focuses on safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement.

You will manage staff, conduct training, coordinate schedules, and drive 5S initiatives, ensuring timely completion of production goals and effective line start-ups and shutdowns.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teams in candle and home fragrance production.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost control.
• Develop schedules, monitor progress, and meet deadlines.
