Job summary

Alene Candles LLC is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift at our New Albany, OH facility. This role will support the pour end manufacturing, manage both permanent and temporary staff, and drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

The candidate will work closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor to develop schedules, monitor performance, and sustain 5S and continuous improvement initiatives across lines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in staffing, training, and achieving efficiency standards.
• Oversee permanent and temporary staff in pour and reheat zones.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Coordinate with engineering to establish efficiency measures.
• Lead 5S and continuous improvement activities.
