Job summary

Alene Candles is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift at our New Albany, OH facility. You will support the Production Supervisor, manage pour and reheat teams, and drive safety, quality and efficiency improvements.

You will oversee staffing, training, scheduling, and 5S/continuous improvement efforts, collaborate with maintenance and engineering, and ensure on-time delivery of production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related manufacturing experience and supervisory exposure.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production setting.
• Strong safety mindset with knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pour and reheat teams and staff on 3rd shift.
• Support the Production Supervisor; drive safety, quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate staffing, training, scheduling; monitor adherence to plans.
• Lead 5S activities and kaizen events to improve lines and throughput.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to resolve issues.
