Job summary

Alene Candles is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor for 1st shift at our New Albany, OH facility. You will assist the Manufacturing Supervisor, oversee pour and reheat operations, and lead a team of permanent and temporary staff in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment.

Responsibilities include achieving efficiency targets, coordinating schedules, driving 5S and continuous improvement, training staff, and communicating with maintenance and engineering to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience managing staff and shift operations.
• Strong problem-solving and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production teams and manage shifts.
• Maintain 5S and continuous improvement on lines.
• Collaborate with engineering to set efficiency standards.
• Coordinate training and cross-training for staff.
• Ensure on-time completion of production schedules.
