Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor I to directly supervise hourly production team members at our Schofield, WI site. You will execute daily production plans, monitor performance, and drive improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Collaborative leadership will guide cross-functional teams including engineering and maintenance. Required 4–6 years of experience and 1–2 years of leadership, with associate or bachelor’s degrees; Excel and SAP experience

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant work experience required.
• 1-2 years of relevant leadership experience required.
• 2 Year / Associate Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study preferred.
• Excel experience in pivot tables and VLOOKUP preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Minimum travel is required.
• Will work on-site at our Schofield WI location.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of hourly production team members.
• Set performance expectations, ensure team has equipment and training to complete tasks, monitor performance, and issue corrective actions as necessary.
• Execute the daily production plan for the area of responsibility.
• Monitor variances to plan and adjust capacity as needed (overtime, flex labor).
• Promote collaboration and engagement aligning with company initiatives.
• Deliver regular communications to team members (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Collaborate with engineering on shop floor challenges and special orders.
• Contribute to onboarding and training plans for new staff.
• Lead productivity goals and staffing adjustments to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with departments (scheduling, engineering, production management, shipping, inventory, sales, purchasing).
• Maintain 5S and safety standards; participate in Safety Teams as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance on tools and machinery upkeep.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking requirements.
