Job summary

Aprilaire in Poynette, WI is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor (2nd shift) to lead daily production operations, prioritize safety and quality, and drive productivity across shifts. The role requires onsite commitment and 2nd shift hours (3-11, Mon-Fri).

You will manage staffing, schedules, and coordinate with other departments to keep production flowing. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years of supervisory manufacturing experience; union experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supervisory Management, or a related field.
• One to three years of management/supervision experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in union environment is a bonus.
• Knowledge of and experience with integrated manufacturing systems.
• Strong computer and software skills.
• Solid interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations across shifts while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
• Collaborate with other departments and shifts to support production flow and resolve constraints.
• Open and shut down buildings at shift start/end and supervise weekend operations as needed.
• Maintain awareness of all processes, equipment, and staffing changes.
• Create, manage, and maintain production schedules and staffing reports.
• Allocate production and labor based on part constraints, breakdowns, and outages.
