Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the second shift in our production facility. You will manage all shift operations, supervise maintenance and production staff, and ensure that daily yield and safety targets are met.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a production setting (preferably poultry), a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong knowledge of OSHA, GMPs, and HACCP. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a production environment (preferably food processing).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Proficient English (oral and written).
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all shift operations including maintenance staff.
• Assist supervisors with supervising and training production employees.
• Ensure daily production/yield targets are met.
• Uphold employee safety and safe work practices.
• Coordinate with QA to meet food safety specifications.
• Develop and mentor employees within designated areas.
• Enforce company policies and administer corrective actions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
