Earth Friendly Products in California seeks a Production Line Lead to supervise the second shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. You will be the primary contact for second shift staff, providing direction and support while maintaining production schedules and company standards.

This role requires hands-on line work as needed, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate line changeovers, recordkeeping, and safety checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in a production role with at least 1 year in a lead capacity.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and KPIs preferred.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee second shift production line activities, ensuring safety and quality.
• Lead line workers, provide direction, and perform line tasks as needed.
• Monitor performance and cross-train staff on a regular basis.
• Enter hourly production data and scrap into the system, ensuring accuracy.
• Coordinate product changeovers and ensure proper equipment and labeling.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and report issues promptly.
• Enforce safety practices and lockout protocols as required.
