Daimler Truck North America is seeking a capable Offline Supervisor for the second shift in the Gaffney, SC area. The role leads the strategy and daily operation of the Offline Repair area, guiding diagnosis, repair, verification, and release of units beyond standard production.

You will manage staffing, repair priorities, and cross-functional coordination, while coaching employees and driving improvements in safety, quality, throughput, and delivery performance in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 4+ years of relevant leadership experience in a high-volume setting.
• Experience leading teams in manufacturing, production, repair, or similar operations.
• Strong communication, organization, coaching, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, standard work, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-shift Offline operations, including safety, staffing, work assignments, repair priorities, quality, productivity, and shift performance.
• Manage units through diagnosis, repair, inspection, verification, documentation, and release while ensuring quality standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Materials, Maintenance, Logistics and other support functions to resolve issues.
• Monitor repair progress and adjust resources based on production needs, parts availability, and delivery requirements.
• Provide clear shift communication through start-up meetings, performance updates, and handoffs between shifts.
• Analyze recurring defects and workflow constraints to improve repair time, throughput, and first-time quality.
• Coach and develop employees via performance feedback, accountability, and standard work.
• Maintain organized, safe work environment with proper tools, documentation and visual management.
