Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking a Second Shift Shop Supervisor to lead daily operations in our trailer maintenance and fleet repair facility. This role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction while guiding a team of technicians.

You will oversee shop workflow, assign repairs, mentor staff, and ensure DOT compliance, with a focus on leadership, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of trailer maintenance and repair experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory, lead technician, or shop leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in transportation, fleet maintenance, trailer repair, or service shop environment preferred.
• Must be available for 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shop workflow and prioritize work orders with Service Manager.
• Coordinate and assign repair work to technicians to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop technicians across skill levels.
• Inspect repairs for quality and DOT/compliance with SOPs.
• Manage parts collaboration, shop equipment, and inventory considerations.
• Foster a safety-focused, accountable, and continuously improving team culture.
