Qualifications

• 3+ years cell culture experience in GMP environment.
• Supervisory or lead trainer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR 210,211 and 820 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a team of 2–8 direct reports for clinical cellular product manufacturing.
• Ensure cGMP compliance through oversight and education.
• Schedule personnel in coordination with Manufacturing leadership.
• Manage projects to meet department and corporate goals and timelines.
• Lead investigations and collaborate on CAPAs, change controls and risk assessments.
• Create and revise SOPs and Batch Records for manufacturing.
• Receive and manage equipment alarms; troubleshoot issues as SME.
• Demonstrate Vertex leadership behaviors and promote collaboration.
