Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the second shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) in Mobile, AL. The role focuses on routine preventive maintenance, plumbing repairs, HVAC mechanical work, and carpentry as needed.

The ideal candidate demonstrates hands-on mechanical aptitude, can use hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment, and works well both independently and within a team on a large facilities operation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with practical hands-on experience.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-starter mentality.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a large team environment.

Responsibilities

• Routine preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Responding to maintenance requests including plumbing repairs such as unclogging toilets and fixtures.
• Performing mechanical repairs on HVAC systems, motors, pumps, and other equipment.
• Completing millwork and carpentry projects as needed.
• Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become problems.
• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs completed.
