Job summary

JLL in Mobile, AL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the Second Shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM). You will perform hands-on maintenance across building systems and equipment, with a focus on preventive care, reliability, and safety.

The role requires practical experience with tools, the ability to work independently yet collaborate in a large team, strong problem-solving, and a proactive mindset to address issues before they become problems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with practical hands‑on experience.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and self‑starter mentality.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a large team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests including plumbing repairs such as unclogging toilets and fixtures.
• Perform mechanical repairs on HVAC systems, motors, pumps, and other equipment.
• Complete millwork and carpentry projects as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and maintain records of all maintenance activities.
