Job summary

TO Plastics is seeking an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician for second shift in Clearwater, MN. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

You will read work orders, adjust machine controls, and collaborate with teammates to keep production running smoothly. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, plus 1–2 years of maintenance experience or trade school training; PLC knowledge and blueprints

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Trade school certificate or 1–2 years of relevant machine maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong background in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of plastics processing, and film extrusion.
• Ability to read blueprints including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and non-routine preventative maintenance and repair on mechanical equipment.
• Read work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Install, replace, or adjust machine parts per production specifications.
• Collaborate with team to repair or move machines and parts.
• Set up and operate machine controls; monitor performance.
• Develop, test, and implement PLC programs and logic.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Complete paperwork with minimal errors and manage maintenance records.
