Job summary

IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and service facilities, manufacturing, tuning, and equipment. This non-exempt role reports to the Maintenance and Operations Managers and interfaces with all levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of injection molding repair experience, PLC familiarity, and the ability to perform a range of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and project tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED plus 2+ years injection molding repair in a manufacturing setting or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to lift and carry 10–50 lbs, up to 200 lbs with hand trucks.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive reaching, stretching, lifting and twisting.
• Familiar with Lock‑out Tag‑out procedures and electrical work safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Assist manufacturing on machines and equipment when necessary.
• Perform repairs to minimize downtime and meet production schedules.
• Repair and maintain buildings and electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical enclosures, relay logic, and PLCs.
• Support a LEAN culture and continuous improvement program.
• Flexible scheduling to meet changing business needs.
