Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician with PLC knowledge for 1st or 2nd shift near Saint Peter, MN. The role offers hourly pay between $33 and $40, plus a $2 shift premium on 2nd shift.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems to keep production running smoothly. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in manufacturing maintenance, read schematics, and collaborate with the team to plan repairs while following strict safety

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing.
• Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and PLC systems.
• Technical training or certification in hydraulics, maintenance or related field is desirable.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify signs of malfunction.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep machinery operating at peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components using schematics and drawings.
• Coordinate with production to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document maintenance and repair work with accurate records.
• Keep maintenance area clean, organized, and stocked with tools and supplies.
• Collaborate with technicians and staff to share knowledge and solve problems.
• Proficiently use power and hand tools for maintenance and repairs.
