Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing subsidiary, seeks a Harness Technician B for the second shift to fabricate and assemble space hardware onsite in California. The role focuses on interpreting blueprints and specifications to build harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies for spacecraft and ground systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with aerospace technician experience and be able to obtain U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months’ experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent industry and/or Trade School training.
• Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (US Citizenship) and an interim/final clearance post-start.

Responsibilities

• Wire harnesses assembly per NASA.STD.8739.4A.
• Use of harness related tools such as soldering irons, crimpers, hot tweezers, etc.
• Testing wire harnesses with equipment such as high potential testers, multimeters, force gauges.
• Assembly of electrical ground support equipment.
• Test equipment setups.
• Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair.
• Meets necessary certification as required.
