Vast Space Llc. in Long Beach, California, is seeking an Avionics Manufacturing Technician (Wire Harnessing) to support advanced space hardware builds on a second shift. You will construct wire cables, test racks/systems, and work closely with avionics engineering to iterate components.

The role requires experience with wire harnesses, soldering PCBAs, and reading wiring diagrams; candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience manufacturing wire harnesses in aerospace/commercial sectors.
• Experience with electronics equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
• Ability to read cable wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Construct wire cables, perform PCB assembly rework, assemble and test racks and units.
• Assist avionics engineering by iterating components and cables.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and drawings.
• Collaborate with engineering to turn concepts into hardware.
• Ensure work progress meets standards and schedules.
