Job summary

RiceWrap Foods Corporation in North Carolina seeks a Production Manager to oversee operations on the production floor, including setup, adjustments, and supervision of staff to meet daily goals.

The role emphasizes GMP, food safety, hands-on labor, and teamwork. You will coordinate with the COO, supervise production associates, and ensure safe, efficient processes. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Management experience required.
• Food environment experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep trays and pans, portion ingredients, move racks of product, remove product from pans, make boxes, pack product into boxes, tape cases, stack cases, and more.
• Participate in dishwashing duties (running dish machines, manually washing small wares, pans, etc.).
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (food safety) guidelines and hygiene practices.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and timely manner (our process is primarily manual with machine-assistance).
• Inspect product at all stages to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Participate in equipment and area cleaning in a safe and timely manner.
• Locate and retrieve raw materials and packaging.
• Pull/push racks of in-process and finished product.
• Participate in operator-based machine maintenance and care.
• Participate in training programs.
• Safely use and dispose of cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Responsible for maintaining company food safety programs during 2nd shift
